Emergency Management
While each municipality typically appoints a staff member to serve as Emergency Management Coordinator for their respective jurisdictions, the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety's Division of Emergency Management works with localities to mitigate, plan, and prepare for emergencies; educate the public about preparedness; coordinate emergency response and recovery efforts; and develop tools and identify resources to support the overall preparedness throughout the County.
