RCAP Steering Committee

The Montgomery County Consortium of Communities, in collaboration with the Montgomery County Planning Commission, Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, and Bucknell University, is currently developing a Regional Climate Action Plan (RCAP) to make Montgomery County a more healthy, equitable, resilient, and sustainable community.

The goal of the RCAP is to act as a guide that Montco. municipalities can use to anticipate and respond equitably to the wide-ranging impacts of a changing climate.

Technical Team & Steering Committee

The Montco RCAP is being coordinated by a Technical Team and a larger Steering Committee comprised of municipal staff and elected officials from across Montgomery County who have volunteered to tackle a holistic and regional approach to climate change. Together, these two groups will form the primary working group from which the early versions of the RCAP will be formed, including preliminary data analysis and county-wide mitigation/adaptation recommendations.
